Most valuable gun in your collection

What is the most valuable gun in your collection? For me, it would be an H&R double barrel SxS .410 and .44-40 from 1890-1914. Worth around $1,000.

I've got a S&W 627 UDR "Bloodwork gun". Not sure what they are going for now. A few years back I seen them going for up around $2000.

1955 target S&W 44 special in excellent condition.

But I have a friend that has a Colt cap and ball. It was owned by his great great (don't remember how many) uncle.
He fought in the battle of Gettysburg and received the medal of honor.
He has the gun, the original medal and the document that was signed by Pres Lincoln.
He has never had it apprised, and all of it is mounted on a nice glass covered wood frame hanging on the wall.
The gun is in good condition for a CV piece. I have never seen the document since it's in the envelope it came in.
And not insured.

A model 1873 winchester in 38-40 cal. has a 30 inch barrel, a single set trigger which are all in the winchester letter. was given to me from a uncle which nobody in his family wanted. Terry

Most valuable in my collection is a Marston 3-barrel .22 deringer with a sliding knife blade. Made 1858 to 1864. I am hoping it is worth close to $3000 these days. Believe it or not, I have fired this, using very low pressure ammo.

I have a friend that owns an MP-35 submachinegun. Sweet shooter. The stock is made from an extinct tree. I think he said it was one of two privately owned in the US.

Most valuable, to me, has a rather small dollar value on it. My grandpa's old Stevens 12g pump holds the most value, for me. A close second would be the mod 28 dad gave me many many years ago.

I have some rather high dollar value guns that I might be persuaded to part with. Those two would be nearly impossible to talk me out of.

Value is subjective, I have my Great G-pa’s Savage 1917 and my G-pa’s .45 that made it threw the Bulge.. These are of grate value to me.

My most valuable gun to me is my H&R Topper single barrel shotgun. It was the gun I learned to hunt with and was given to me by my father when I was a young boy. All the others while monetarily more valuable, none mean more to me than that old single barrel

My highest dollar value gun is also my most valued sentimental gun.

It was given to me by wife's grandfather just a couple months ago, and since I do not come from a gun family, it is the only family heirloom gun I own.

It is a Browning Hi-Power Safari Rifle, chambered in 30-06. It is from their first year of production and carries a 3 digit serial number. It is in 95% condition with some beautiful wood on it.

Every month, an estate auction company near me has a gun auction, and they built up quite the reputation as a gun appraiser and gun auction house. When I was up there last time looking at the wares for the next upcoming auction, I had him take a look at it for me. He valued it at about $2,000. Most early Browning Hi-Power Safari rifles in 30-06 go for about $1,100-$1,300 he said, but expected that the 3 digit serial number would add a bit to mine.

Doesn't matter to me though, the only way that gun ever leaves my safe is the day I give it to my child/grandchild.

Every other gun I own can be readily bought at pretty much every gun shop in America, and most for well under $1,000.

two

I've got to list two, sentimental and then cash value.

My Grandad's Win , M88/.308 is very special. Mail ordered, delivered to his house in 1956. I have the box. To this point, 3 generations of us have hunted that rifle and dropped deer. Its range of success covers 4 states. I have basically retired it, but dust it off now and again in really pretty weather.
dang thing is a shooter too, mushy trigger not withstanding.

The cash gun was my other Grandad's, and how he came by it is a mystery. A bone stock, to include two tone magazine, 1911/.45acp manufactured in 1917. Marked US property, I think "model of US Army" too. Have not gotten it out in a while.

Rest of my stuff is pretty blue collar.

I would have to say my 4 AK's are the most valuable guns in my collection, since the sale or purchase of AK's {including lots of other's} is banned in Maryland; because of Senate Bill #281

My most valuable I think would be my Sig 210-7. Polished blue finish and in excellent condition throughout. I saw one one on the web in almost as good condition for sale for $7,000 a few years ago.

I don't have any that are "valuable" but I have one that has a ton of sentimental value: (it was a b-day gift a cpl of yrs ago fm my wife & son)

I have a Lend Lease Garand, Dec 41, I have seen them go for $3000 and up
I also have a 1873 Carbine, in the Custer serial range, it is $4-5000.
