Most reliable .22LR ammo for Beretta 21A Bobcat?

I have been using CCI Minimags in my Beretta Bobcat (Model 21A). With the Minimags, there are about one or two duds per box of 100. Can anyone suggest different ammo that has fewer duds?
Thanks,
Mike

For those who use .22 rimfire for personal defense, I recommend a revolver instead of a semi-auto. If you suffer a misfire, you just have to pull the trigger again to bring a fresh cartridge into battery to fire.

The LAST gun I'd use for personal defense is a Beretta or Taurus .22 LR Bobcat-type handgun. Misfires are very difficult to clear because these little guns don't have an extractor. You have to pry the misfired cartridge from the breach with a small pocket knife or insert a rod down the muzzle to push it out. The same gun, chambered for .25 ACP is more reliable, in my opinion, and offers virtually identical terminal performance.

I sold my Bobcat. I think the minimags did not work as well as CCI's Stinger ammo.

I have found Stingers to run fine in mine.

As for clearing it. So long as it was clean, releasing the barrel flipped out the round very positively.
