We have all heard about the cases where the supreme court has ruled that the constitution or any other part of documented American "rights" does not guarantee personal safety, which is true, it only limits the government.
But this is where I get angry.
The government, MAKES it self a needed part of everyday life.
First by restricting/controlling essential tools needed for adequate self preservation (firearms).
Then, outlawing other tools, or atleast the process of carrying them. (knives)
A couple years of punishment, either by means of incarceration, probation, house arrest, or other forms of detentions.
The threat of high dollar court fee's also, and the cost of a good lawyer.
In other words, you/me (the general populous) are at total mercy to the government. They give us a few elections, which yes does help to an extent, but for the most part they (politicians) are all the same, it's like looking at a set of knives an picking the smallest one to stab yourself with.
I dont put total blame on the local law enforcers, because they are given a set of laws, and processes that they must follow or else they are out of jobs.
But by not refuting or rejecting to enforce some of the laws they infact are part of the problem, and their sherrifs and/or police chiefs are just another knife in the set to choose from.
So they turn themselves into the main source of defence/protection by means of laws and the threat of extreme punishment, yet they are not legally bound by anything to help us. So if they ever fail to protect someone, blame cannot be laid upon the police. Because afterall, defense is a responsibility the person seeking defense must undertake.
The gun grabbers, and the people that support them... make me furious beyond words, I mean... I've never heard of such a plan!
Plan: Disarm the general populous, put our defense and livelyhood into the hands of people that dont even know us, nor have any legal obligation to help us!
WHAT IN THE !!!!!! COME ON!!!
This does not apply to all American citizens because your state may be more free for the time being. But it does to Americans that live in states like CA, MA, NY, NJ and all the other ones where blame for human action/inaction is set on inanimate objects. (read on the news that the mayor of Boston blames the surge in murders on Guns!!)
I'm probably going in circles here with the government gaining too much power, and gun grabbers, it's just that I have so much going through my head, and I dont know how to let it all out.
Unlike good scribes like XavierBreath, USP45usp, and Wildalaska (although I conflict with him a lot) I have trouble putting thoughts down into text.
So I think I'll stop here.
Your input would be greatly appreciated.
