Most accurate ammo for a Ruger Single Six?

What has been the most accurate ammo you've fired out of your Ruger Single Six? For me it has been a few boxes of Federal hi-velocity .22 longs. Yes longs not lr.

I don't know what the reason for this is, barrel twist I guess. Seems the higher velocity I go with ammo the worse the accuracy gets.

The last one I had (which was used and abused, but still shot like new) seemed to like Remington standard velocity best. I'm of the opinion that the Single Six shoots everything well though.

Every .22 I own likes something different.

Mine does quite well with the CCI Blazers .22lr ammo.
