In the Browning A-bolt, what is the most accurate calibre at 250+ yds? This assumes a Leupold/Nikon/etc. scope of appropriate power, competency of the shooter to best use the calibre, and ammunition that has been matched to the particular rifle. A pretty short (but big) question. Thanks guys!

Its always the shooter, well a good part of the time. I have been shooting a A-bolt stalker in 7 mag. When I'm breathing right, tender on the trigger it will constantly shoot 1 1/2 at two hundred. If I had the time to practice alot, I think it could shoot 1" Brownings usually shoot very well.
Just pick one of the many great calibers and go have fun. Oh yes, it helps to stand on the correct side of the rifle. You see, I'm a lefty-----Hooooooooray!!!!
