Most accurate .38 sp bullet type?

Generally speaking, what will be the most accurate bullet types from among the following for a 4" .38 special?

WC
SWC
LRN

Thanks for the advice!

Package deal, load - gun - bullet.

Most of my guns have preferred full wadcutters for short range, 25 yds and in.

Heavier bullets, semi wadcutters mostly for longer ranges.

My guns, my loads. YMMV

For punching hole's in paper, commerically available hollow
base wadcutter's seem to perform exceptionally well; when
fired from a 4" or 6" barrel .38 Special, or .357 magnum.

For all around a good SWC works the best in my 357's.

It could be that is because I shoot them in about 90% of my loads, and all of my handloads give better accuracy than commercial stuff in my guns.

Thanks all. I have been using 158 gr. LRN for competition, but am considering buying some from Georgia Arms and wanted to get your advice. I'll go with the 158 gr. LSWC.

West Coast 148Gr DEWC or Precision Bullets 148Gr DEWC both are extremlly accurate out of all my 38/357's.

Tony......are your 148 WCs still good at 50 yds ?

I love em out to 25 but have better consistancy with 158s at the 50 yd targets.

I used to have some really exceptional accuracy with the 130grain FMJ Winchester USA ammo, my 38/44 Outdoorsman just loved the stuff.

I shoot about 90% at my indoor range and the longest lane is 65 feet,. When I do get to the outside range in my area, I have been shooting out to 30 yards but have still had good accuracy with both bullets mentioned in my above post, the 148 DEWC type bullet. When shooting at 30 yards I raise my powder on an average of .02Gr's.
