mossy chokes

i was wanting to turkey hunt with my 500 an i was wondering is the chokes for the 935 interchangeble with the 500? or do they have a different thread gap?

According to Mossberg, the 500 uses Accu-Choke Tubes and the 935 uses Accu-Mag Tubes. Sorry, they don't seem to be interchangeable.

You are bset served by patterning..

forbest density of the commercially available turkey head target.

May want to see what different shot size will do for density.

Jellyhead chokes for the Winchester Win-choke or the Browning Invector will fit the Mossberg 500

The 500 and 535 use the same chokes as early Winchester or Browning (called Accu-choke, Win-choke, Invector respectively, but they're all the same). You should be able to find just about any aftermarket choke to fit this barrel.

Later, Winchester and Browning went to a larger diameter barrel and changed to the Invector PLUS choke. Mossberg went to a larger diameter barrel in the 835 and 935 and they use the Accu-MAG choke. They're not compatible with tubes for a 500.

Yes as well as Savage plus a few other odd ones. What you CANNOT use from Mossberg are the chokes made for the overbore guns (835/935).
