If mossberg makes an ar I would run from it like it was a fat lady screaming I want babies.

I'm told that they're coming out with one in .308, and I may have to give that one a look-see.
The family owns several Mossberg shotguns and they're shooters. They're not pretty guns, but they are durable, reliable workhorses.
Oh, look, a quick Google and I found one at Bud's Gun Shop. They call it the MMR, which I understand is for Mossberg Modern Rifle. Not a bad price either, for an entry level .308 on the AR platform. If they've done their homework (and I bet they have), it should be a durable, reliable workhorse. Let's face it, ARs are not hard to build. Lots of guys build them in the garage. Why shouldn't Mossberg get in on the market?
