I am looking to swap out my wood Mossberg 500 stock with a synthetic one.
Before I butcher it all up, I just wanted to know if I only need to remove the nut at the front to get the forearm off. The butt stock seems pretty straight forward.

you actually have to take the barrel off (considering it's a pump 500). you unscrew the nob at the end of the magazine and pull straight out. once that's done, it's pretty much self explanitory.
