there is some play between my barrel and stock on my mossberg plinkster. will this affect my accuracy??? should i try and tighten it???

Sorry, I just noticed this question.
The answer is no, you should not try and tighten it. The Plinkster has a free floating barrel that is designed not to touch the stock. It's completely normal! (and actually designed for better accuracy)
