Mossberg Model 835

I just bought this shotgun online. I was just now doing some reading and someone said that due to the overbored barrel in this gun it will not be able to fire slugs. Is this true?

With that barrel - correct. Never attempt to fire slugs in an overbore'd barrel. There are slug barrels availbable for the 835 though.

+1 with Doyle. I own an 835, have for years...never, NEVER fire slugs through it!
