Mossberg Mavrick??

Hi guys nice board here!
Came across a decent looking 12g called a Mavrick built by Mossberg new at the gun shop its selling for $249. it got a 18 inch barrel and holds 8 rounds. Any words on this gun? Worth a damn or pass on it?
 
Dont pass on a maverick at 150 bucks but at 240 i wouldnt buy it. I know rugerdude has one that has been nothing but reliable and perfect for what it was built. But he bought a 500 persuader for 212 with the SD barrel so whereever you are going is very proud of their products.

Academy sells Mavericks for $138; the 500 goes for $199. The WalMart here will match the Academy price. They even post the Academy ad next to their guns. Competition is great!
 
I wish the Wal Marts around here in Southern Cali would sell guns! sounds like they got great deals, around here you have to go to gun stores that charge a lot more then the big guys. I got to check out turners rhey seem to have some good deals sometimes. Also been thinking about spending couple more bucks and going with a win. 1300 or that rem 870 I want to get a gun where they got lot of parts for it to give it my own custom edge.
