Ok, so since I got my 870 about 5 days ago, I have been desperately searching high & low for one of these Mossberg Loc Box things. Mine is a HD gun, and since I dont have & cant afford a conventional long gun safe, I have been looking for an affordable way to secure my 870 while I am away from home. I have no kids, so I dont have to worry about that, But for those of you that do, this is also a good item for keeping your gun out of curious hands, as well as keeping it close at hand should you need it.
Anyway, there are none to be found anywhere on the internet. Seems that even Mossberg themselves cant even tell you with any certainty when they might have them. But I did find some.
Jason Hirsch at Minnesota Carry Academy has some. Im not sure how many, but I have one coming, and he said he had more. Thought I would pass it along..Heres a link:
