I am ordering a new 18.5" barrel for my used Mossberg 500A. I bought it with a 24" fully rifled barrel W/ front and back sights, on it and I dont hunt, So now I will have to sell this barrel. I am making it into a HD gun.So I have a question. How do you remove the bead site on the new barrel. Does it just screw off? I purchased a Shotforce Mount W/ a Weaver rail for the barrel and it says I have to remove the bead sight.This is my first pump shot gun and I dont know a whole lot about it.
