Rent the dvd Dead Presidents, during the Vietnam scenes you can see the main charecter use a 590 with wood furnature from the 500 American Field Grade. Actually for a long time thought it might have been a 590 that came that way for some small contract that specified wood, but am sure it was something like they couldn't for some reason get ahold of an actual old school wood-stocked trench gun like a Model 12 during filming so threw this together to look more period appropriate.
It's a pretty good movie anyway, a heist flick. Really makes you think about what we owe our vets, and definately what the government does. The war portion is the best part but isn't that long, it's really graphic (you'll never look at Christopher from the Sopranos the same) Check it out, seeing it in action is a hell of a lot better than a photo. IMO doesn't look bad, also I'm not crazy about corncob forearms so in that way for me would be an improvement. Like I said also, I did wonder if this was a special issued model also, so I guess it doesn't look that out of place. See it in the movie that will be a preview of what you'll have.
