Contact Mossberg and ask this question.
Recently someone asked this question of Mossberg, and they told him what to do.
Unfortunately, I can't find the forum, or remember whatthey told him.

Installing rifle sights on a Mossberg 590 depends on the type sights you want.
Standard barrel-mounted sights are a matter of either buying a new barrel with the sights already installed, or having new sights attached.
For "Ghost ring" (actually a trendy name for a receiver-mounted peep sight) it depends on whether your gun's receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounts.
If your receiver IS drilled, apparently Mossberg's own Ghost ring sight mounts to those holes.
For front sights and barrel-mounted rear sights, there are options.
First option is to have a PRO gunsmith braze the sights on the barrel.
This is how most makers do factory sights.
Some rear sights can be attached by drilling and tapping the barrel.
Here's a new no drill-no braze front sight with protective "ears".
This sight clamps on and requires only removing the factory bead:

For Ghost ring rear sights, unless your receiver is already drilled and tapped AND the holes will line up with the sight you choose, you'll have to have a good gunsmith drill and tap the receiver.
So, for a front sight, you can either have it brazed or buy a clamp-on sight.
For barrel-mounted rear sights, you can either drill and tap, or braze.
For receiver-mounted sights, you have to have drilled and tapped holes that match the sight.
NOTE: If you have a plated shotgun, brazing is pretty much OUT due to damaging the plating.
