Mossberg 590 Pump Wobble

I have a Mossberg 590. The pump has a little bit of play to it that it will rock left and right. It doesn't feel like it's going to break or anything, I just wonder if that's normal. Is there a way to tighten this up?

Assuming the fore end is NOT moving on the action tube sleeve, it's normal. If the fore end is moving on the sleeve, tighten the retaining nut.

Yeah, perfectly normal, especially for a pump shotgun.
It's in case you're out in the swamps duck hunting, drop it in the muck and expect it to keep working.
If it will make you feel better, pick up most poly framed striker fired pistols and give them a shake.

Typical Mossberg. Nothing to worry about. They all have some play but damn Modsberg takes the cake with most pump wobble
