Good day gentlemen. If this question was posted elsewhere in the forum I appologize. I just recieved a Mossberg 500C to do a trigger job on, and am wondering whats the best way to go about it. The customer would like the trigger tuned up a bit, it is very nasty.(the nastiest factory trigger I have seen yet:barf:) It unfortunately has the complete trigger group on a pin, like the 835, but it is a metal group(thank god)! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks
Ted

Sir:
You might just remove that trigger group and flush it out with some gun scrubber, or WD-40. I'll bet it's filthy dirty. Then you might lube just the pivot points. Hold the hammer back when you clean it our - (gasoline does wonders)

Good to know Harry.. Thanks! I put my trigger scale on it and it was .so heavy it didn't even show up. I am guessing around 9 pounds.. That is just way to much. I have the shotgun in my hands for 2 more weeks, and I am hopeing I can take it down to around 5 or 6 pounds. I will deffinately try the gas trick too.
