Mossberg 500A extended mag SLUG Barrel

I have been looking for a slug barrel for my 500A. The problem is that it has the extended magazine. I see plenty of barrels with both iron sights and cantilver mounts for the standard magazines, but none with magazine loop that fits around the extended magazine. The loop would have to be near the end (instead of near the middle) of the barrel to work. Does anyone know where I could find one?
 
I was hoping maybe someone knew of a barrel that would work. I'm considering just buying a dedicated slug gun with rifled barrel. The shorter magazine tube is around $30 and the slug barrel is $107 at Cheaper Than Dirt. Add in shipping and well, you get the picture. I can get Wallyworld to order a Mossberg 500 slug gun for around $220.

I do have a Truglow 30mm red dot site, and I ordered a rail mount to attach it to my Mossberg (it has the tapped receiver). I'm going to see how that works first. Thanks again.
 
I have an 8 shot, the tube goes out to the end of the barrel... the swivel is actually past the barrel.

I use rifled slugs and a red dot... the rail (UTG I think) from cheaper than dirt works real good.

sounds like youre looking for a rifled barrel..so I don't know sorry couldn't help.
 
Sounds like we have the same model. I ordered a UTG mount from ebay for $14 including shipping. I'm glad it works well, my sonbought UTG handguards with rails for an AK and I was impressed. I bought some of the 2 3/4 Remington Slugger rifled slugs and a box of Breeneke rifled 2 3/4 slugs. I may not need the additional accuracy of the rifled barrel because in the thick swamps I'll be hunting hogs in, 50-60 yards would be about the farthest I would be shooting. If I needed 100-150 yards I would probably need the rifled barrel with sabots.
 
I finally got my new scope rail on and had a chance to try it out. I was able to get a 1" to 1.5" group at 25 yds. I am happy with that. I went hog hunting today, and where I put my climber, I would not have a shot more than 40 yds. I think I can can get into this slug thing.
