I was like, hey awesome Jurassic Park stock! kickin, lets get it!, so i saved up the cash and bought it and it came in today. However it has some flaws.....

1.) Ive read but not tested that in the open position the shells will fall out of the holder then it is fired, kk, no biggie, just dont keep them in there or try and mod it (which will be done on mine).

2.) The mounting hardware wasn't right! what the hell, not cool, but an easily fixable problem, i just got a bolt equal to the size of the one that is supposta be there and took a dremel to the head of it to make it a flat head bolt, the hex hed fit but you couldn't get a socket in the tube.

Thats it for the bad, the good well, see for yourself.....

So anyhoo, i think that this project was a success. the stock is solid as a rock, tough metal construction, seems very rugged and at $46.46, good price in my eyes.

Hope this helps someone looking for a folding stock!

saw one at a gunshow, i would have bought it but i had already spent enought for the day. seemd really nice tho

I had a Remington factory folder on my 870. Kicked like a mule. Replaced the stock with speedfeed (that holds cartridges). No pain now.

Report back after you've fired it..........A lot.......

I was gonna reply with "let us know how much you still like it after several range trips" but thought I'd leave it alone. :D

I've tried a top folding stock, M4 style collaspable stock, PGO and while they all looked good, I ended up going back to a regular (but shortend LOP) Hogue stock on my 500. ;)

I do hope the top folder works out for you better than it did me. Cause I know I wasted alot of money of the different style stocks trying to find the best HD setup for me.

threw 100 5's, 6's, 7 1/2's and 8's through it, all were perfect, just did a box of each The kickback was really not bad at all, the pistol grip really takes alot of it down, it is only like a tenth more than my speedfeed, no joke, even shot it using pistol grip only, not bad at all, and the shells do not fall out. at least of mine

Guys, i had a kid shooting with me, 23 at 150lbs, never shot a shotgun in his life, said the kick wasnt bad. Im not joking, all there is for a pad is well just a rubber pad, the pistol grip really takes a lot of shock out. My A5 has a ton more kick than that gun, idk unless mine has some sort of recoil reducer? i know its not the ammo, i had some kinda hot reloads for the 7 1/2 and the 8's, the 6 and 5's were Remington Mohawks
