I put a cheap Tasko Red Dot Shotgun scope on my 18.5 inch Mossberg 500. Today was first time I tried it. It was such a blast, I was able to dial-in the red dot right where I wanted it and shoot paper targets with Remington reduced recoil slugs out of it accurately up to 50 yards. Its kinda of funny because people that I talked to about doing this were telling me I would have troubles with the scope becoming loose and having to lose zero after just a few shots. Well that never happened, after 25 slugs the gun and scope work just fine. I can't wait to get back at it. Has anyone else tried this before?
