Hey how's it going? Has anyone seen any reviews on the Mossberg .270 4x4 with muzzle break got a great deal on a new one couldn't pass up the deal

The Mossberg along with the Remington 710/770 series are the only 2 guns I would never suggest anyone buy. It's not like they will blow up in your face when you pull the trigger or anything, but someone could spend less than the cost of 2 boxes of ammo and get a much, much better gun.

mossberg

Although not the 4x4, I used my Mossberg 30-06 ATR at the range today. The 4x4 is very much like it.

Was shooting 300 yards and it was easily within 1 MOA. Used Hornady 165gr BTSP, 49 grains of IMR4895. The velocity was 2835 15 feet from the barrel.

It may not have Turkish walnut stocks, but it is accurate enough for hunting. What am I missing?

I think the Mossberg 4x4 is a better gun than the 710/770 Remington. The Mossberg ATR might be along the same lines as the remington.

Can't speak for the 270, but I have the 4x4 in 30-06, and it's a solid rifle for sure. It came with a "mossberg" scope, which was just for looks... but once I mounted some decent glass up top, it started to shine. It shoots Remmy core-lokt around moa, and I've had an easy time working up a pet load for it. It'll be my go-to blaster for big game in CO this fall:D
