This is my first time posting to this forum. I have a "project rifle" and not being much of a rilfe guy...well here I am.
What I have is a Mossberg 251C .22LR with a broken firing pin and a bent barrel. I have located a source for parts and am awaiting pricing.
Can anyone tell me if this rifle is worth restoring? It has a very smooth action and a crip break. Anyone ever had one of these old ladys? What kind of track record did they have in their heyday? Anything you can tell me about this rifle would be much appreciated. Thanks
