Today I went to the office shop to remove the rear sight ramps of two barreled receivers
that I got some time ago and was trying to conver them to scout rifles.
I was fed up with the scout scope bases loosening after a couple of shots and
constantly loosing zero with the LER scope.
I heated the rear sight base with the torch and started pushing it forward, the ramp slid out.
After removing the rear sight base/ramp, I noticed that there is a base similar in size to the air
soft and .22 rimfire rifle bases and I said to my self Hmm? self, I think that the airsoft rings that
you got for your K31 base project will fit.
I rushed home, pulled out the rings and whala, they fit perfectly.
Now I have a very solid base and the rings wont move. "
I am thinking of picking up these rings
