We got together and had a Shoot @ stmarys of our mosin nagants.

"Мосинка" Diminutive or familiar for Mosin/Russian nick name for Mosin Nagant pronounced "Mosinka"

On the 10-DEC-2011 We held a shoot for Mosin Nagant owners to come along and show off their rifles, This is the result.

Rifles In attendance:
- 1933 Mosin Nagant Izhevsk 91/30
- M44 Scoped
- M44 Original
- Mosin Nagant Izhevsk 91/30
- .22LR Lever Gun, for fun while the Nagants cooled down.

Note: Yes the Nagant has sticky bolt she is brand new out of the cosmoline.

Мосина = Mosina (feminine for Mosin)

Мосинка = Mosinka (diminutive or familiar for Mosin)

I love my Nagant's. And I can't even say Nagant properly.

One's an M44. Both mint under $100.

Ammo is 60cents a round, $265 a tin!
For commercial ammo its like $1 a round.

You must not live in the USA. JGsale.com has them for $79.95, I paid $69.95 last year, and the bore is perfect, it's dated 1943 so it my have killed some Nazi's.

440 tins of Russians are bout $90 to my door. Well $180 for two., me and a buddy went halfs on a crate.
