yes, the bolt will need cut. but it comes with the kit to install the bent bolt. my suggestion, but an old bolt and destroy that one and keep the otigional
You should also look at the Rock Solid Industries mount. It has one more mounting screw than the ATI mount, so it is indeed "rock solid". They also sell "bent" bolts, or you can send them yours, and they'll modify it for you. http://www.rocksolidind.com
