I notice that your groups tightened up with the Ruger and the higher pressure. Mine did the same thing. All of my S&W’s like 5.2 but the Ruger really tightened up with 5.6 and a Penn bullet.
What wadcutter are you using?

That's pretty much the whole story. The Cimarron Model P is a very nice sixshooter. It suffers from (for me, anyway) having those fixed sights, the rear sight being the rounded top of the frame. The Ruger provides me with a much better sight picture.

Notice too, that the Uberti shot low on the large bullseyes, but actually shot to point of aim, as I use a six o'clock hold. When a smaller bull is used, its dead center. So I don't forsee going to any other type of sight.
