In other news, talked to a retired USAF gent who said that, from his sources, about 8,000 USMC troops are in Australia now, "helping local 'law' enforcement with gun confiscation". Any truth to that?

This "story" is a very big leg pull !

About 250 Marines are taking part in 'Golden Eagle" with Aussie Diggers in jungle North of Townsville.

120 soldiers from C Company, 1st Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment out of Kaneohe Bay Hawaii commanded by Major Andrew Smith are "transgressing" it with the Aussies in some of the toughest jungle we've got.

They are too busy tryin' to take each others guns without "helping" out our local boys in blue!
