the zoli shotgun i am looking at says a.zoli-3"-12gauge. the 30 inch barrels have one star-18.2 and 3 star-18.2. the 26 inch barrels haqve 3 stars=-18.3 and 4 stars-18.4. it says fm brescia-italy and also has cape giradeau mo. on it. it has a number A7579 several places and several trademark stamps some form of crests i think. sort of hard to see, even with magnifing glass. seems to be in good to very good shape, one noticiable nick in the stock by recoil pad and is finished in rubbed oil as opposed to a varnished look. Bores are shiny. Nice engraving on a silver reciver. Any additional info and price suggestions are welcomed. I would likie info on where to find more info. Thank you and i am glad i found and joine this site. Almost ready to call off the deal on zoli and by either a used ruger or new mossberg silver pidgeon.

thank you for that info. However i still want to know if this gun is worth $730.00 and which zoli it is. any more info or anyone know where to find out more?

Let's see, the import address was probably Cape Outfitters, but they went out of business when the owner died 7 or 8 years ago. That should make it an Antonio Zoli gun, not an Angelo Zoli gun.

Looking at the Antonio Zoli entries in the Blue Book excerpt on the CTD site -

www.cheaperthandirt.com/EveryGun/GunMfgCategoryDetail.aspx?id=1920

- the best I can suggest sitting here at the office is to google some images using the model names listed and see what matches the gun you're looking at and see if any of the auction sites have sold any of them or maybe have them listed with asking prices.

The stars represent choke size.
1 star = full
2 stars = modified full
3 stars = modified
4 stars = improved cylinder

The A. Zoli indicates it is probably an Angelo Zoli. One source I found did indicate taht Antonio Zoli also marked some of his guns just A. Zoli but not frequently. The biggest thing to look for is Antono's trademark symbol. If it has a drawn bow etched into the receiver then it is an Antonio. If it doesn't, it is an Angelo.
