Tried out the 70 Series G.C. with both the factory bushing and the Prairie River Arms busning comp.

Shooting pretty hot 230gr. fmj.

Bushing comp seems to mitigate recoil and muzzle flip some, but nothing dramatic like a chambered, threaded comp. I'd estimate maybe a 10%-15% reduction in muzzle flip.

Accuracy was about the same with both bushings. The bushing comp fit perfectly, with just a couple of turns of fine emery cloth on the bushing-to-slide bearing surfaces.

I guess I got my $25 worth, but I wouldn't have spent much more than that.

A more interesting comparison will be next week, when I receive my compensated Accu-Match, .400 Cor-Bon barrel for my 1911. Will post results of side-by-side tests comparing 1911 with G21 with same setup.
