MORE OF OUR CONSTITUTION DOWN THE DRAIN

Looks like a minimum of four years to get out of it.

In that amount of time we could get Out of the U.N. If the sheeple can still be herded by shepherds and not wolves.

This makes me furious--I am struggling to keep my composure and my language civil... My hands are shaking I am so angry...

Looks like Clinton has finally done away with our Constitution after all...

I am going to use a word I almost never use. Hatred.

I weep for our country.

I have to go now.

Constitution? What Constitution?

I gave up hope in getting out of the UN. The Constitution itself says that treaties will become the highest law of the land. When we got into the UN, we became a part of that dreadful organization by treaty. That means to this layman that we cannot constitutionally get out of the UN unless we have them agree to a treaty. What we can do is destroy the UN by refusing to send our soldiers on its missions, and refusing to send our tax dollars to keep the UN folk paid. Eventually, unless other countries step up to plate to fund it (probably won't happen), the thing will whither and die.

I would appreciate if those of you who know what
this is all about would share some of your
knowledge with the rest of us who dont know about it.

I went to the hyper link and they were talking, on & on seemingly endlessly, about
their political organization and all the confrernces
that they have held .

I finally found an explination that they were going
to do something about trying to prevent desserts
from occuring.

So how does any of this affect me and other
Americans.

I might want to be on your side, if I knew what
your side was and what the un side was.

I already suspect the un of being up to something
just because of the secrecy they opperate with.

When you go to the UN web site , they bury anything
meaningfull in tons of words about all the meetings
the held for the past 20 years so that you are unable
to locate any revelant information to the topic under
consideration.

As I understand it

the United States just signed a treaty with the United Nations.

That treaty is gives the UN control over how land may be used. Anything that could cause a land to become a desert (desertification) will be controlled by the UN. This would include processes such as:
- converting forests to pasture,
- converting pasture to certain crop lands,
- converting crop lands to subdivisions, and
- other unspecified 'conversions'.

U.S. treaties must be ratified by the Senate. Most treaties are little single-issue treaties with single nations, dealing with stolen vehicles, criminals, and the like. Such treaties are approved with little or no debate or attention.

Clinton's regime had this BIG land-use treaty sneaked in with the little treaties and they all were approved by a show of hands - so there is NO record of who voted for what.

How much American land, both public and private, has Clinton given to foreign control? Nobody knows. The 70% figure pertains to a world percentage. But whatever the percentage given to UN to control may include both public and private land - like family farms, for example.

Lord only knows how much of America our current government has now given away - perhaps 70%, perhaps less, perhaps more (depending upon the fine print of the treaty).

Note that Republicans and Democrats alike accomplished this great step toward globalization and one-world government.

Somebody pulled a major legal/procedural shenanigan. I doubt the Senate would knowingly have approved that. This is a major blow against personal property right, and against the sovereignty of the USA.

But given where we are, can't the Senate reverse its ratification? It would be bad PR for the Senate. They would look stupid. But they COULD do it, couldn't they?

Maybe we should write our Senators and tell 'em that's what we want 'em to do.

And who, exactly, is going to enforce compliance with UN bureaucrat's pronouncements related to this treaty? The same crew of UN "peacekeepers" that have done such a swell job of handling things in Sierra Leone? The ones intimidated by armed gangs of street toughs in Freetown?

This only has an impact on us if the POTUS pays any attention to it.
