Well......one of the best gun dealers in northern CA is closing up shop.......Siegles gun shop in oakland, which has been in business for 57 years is closing its doors on july 29th..........because of the "gun dealer tax"......which was enacted in oakland.

From what I could gather it was an extra 2.7 percent or something like that.

Where ever you live......support your local dealers.

I guess we're all a little safer from gun violence......right ?.

At least give the local dealer your ammo business if you don't buy the gun from him or her.

And don't forget the local gunshow if it is a small operation put on by the local gun club. One of these days the dealers won't be coming and the gun show may be closed down. But you gotta watch these local affairs cuz some of the dealers use the small-time shows to unload slow-moving or dead stock at high prices cuz they figure the hicks won't know any better.

On second thought, buy your guns locally too, rather than from some traveling salesmen.
