I couldn't help but buy a Christmas present for myself: RIMZ, a moonclip extractor and a six cartridge loader.
I purchased all of these from mooncips.com. It's a great store and website for anyone interested in these kinds of things. Tom Kilhoffer delivers exceptional service and advice too.
FYI, I bought the loading tools for use with steel clips. They're not needed with RIMZ. I'll reserve the steel clips for serious purposes -- less use less chance of warping one.
The tools are a big help. I bought the loader mainly out of curiosity, although I was skeptical about its utility. Surprise, surprise. This thing is wonderful. I imagine I could load 24 to 30 rounds a minute with it,maybe more if I wanted to. Enough for a range session would take just a few minutes. (This is the way to use moonclips, BTW. Load up a couple hundred at home beforehand. All the semiauto dudes, fumbling with their magazines, will be dumbstruck by how quickly you run through your ammo. Who says revolver reloads are slow?)
