I haven't a clue where to go to find good info on monoculars (candlepower forums for flashlights, here for guns, etc. but monoculars?) so does anyone have any suggestions for where to go or better yet, which monoculars to put on a short list?

Uses: looking at targets to see where I shot of course, but also bird watching, low light (dusk/dawn) animal watching, general use. Pocketable would be great.

If possible, at least 8x power would be great, if they even make em image stabilization would be nice. More power is always good if it doesn't offset the other qualities too much.

Any suggestions?

I don't know if you're looking for high end optics, but I have a couple of these for shooting, hiking, etc. and they work great. Very small, fits in a pack easier than binoculars and for the price I don't worry about scratching or losing them (although neither have happened).

Was thinking more high end however something that light and cheap would be a great alternative.....if the eye relief wasn't 10mm.

I wear glasses too, so an eye relief of 15mm or more would be better.

Thanks for the link though!
