anyone use Monmouth.com for reloading stuff?

I found them online and see a couple good deals.

always like to make sure a site is legit before ordering.

I like their 200gr coated SWC 45 bullet for a target load in my 45GAP. I have shot 4 or 5 thousand of them. Every order was processed and tracked. They are one of my preferred suppliers.

You won't have much luck at www.monmouth.com for reloading equipment and components but if there are good buys from www.monmouthreloading.com go for them. Usually no need to question the validity of a vendor but sometimes one may have better prices than others. Speed in filling an order and shipping may be a consideration but for small shipments most everyone sends by priority mail.

I have been buying brass from them for a little over a year. Very good and as stated on their website.

They have recently expanded the offerings to tactical parts and some reloading components.

The first order I placed was at my mailbox in 4 days.

Can't beat four days. But to the other extreme, I've had a source for cast rifle bullets that actually took months to fill an order so had to give up on them after three orders. My best source for cast rifle bullets, www.montanabulletworks.com, gets orders out in one week. Normally cast rifle bullets are made up per specific order which accounts for delays in shipping.

Before the WWW I was subscribing to ShotgunNews and bought from ~~100 suppliers with my VISA or MASTERCARD. I never had a problem.

Now with online suppliers I almost never have a problem. Sometimes an outfit will go out of business before they ship. It takes a week or two for the credit card company to refund me.

If there is a contested transaction with either of those cards, the buyer always seems to win. Don't abuse that privilege, like my ex neighbor did. She demanded a refund for everything.

But if you want trouble.... buy used machinery on ebay and pay with paypal. It is not a question if you will have trouble, it is when. It takes a lot to get me to fight something, so when that happens, I throw it in the garbage and chalk it up to risk.

Judging from their very slow web site, Monmouth seems to be a drop shipping company.
Nothing wrong with that as long as they keep tabs on things.
Probably helps keep their prices competitive, which they seem to be.
Thanks for the info.
