    1. Copying and pasting entire articles from another site to TFL is strictly prohibited. The same applies to articles from print or other media, and to posting photographs taken of copyrighted pages or other media.

    2. Copyright law provides for “fair use” of portions of a copyrighted work. You can copy no more than a SINGLE paragraph from the article to your post (3 or 4 sentences at most).

    3. You must provide a link to the article along with the name of website. For example: ww.xxx.yyy/zzz (The Lower Thumbsuck Daily News).

    4. You must provide, in your own words, a brief summary of the article AND your reasons for believing it will be of interest to TFL members. Failure to do so may result in the thread being closed or your post being deleted as a “cut and paste drive by.”

    5. Photographs and other images are also copyrighted. "Hotlinking" of images (so that it appears in your message) from other sites is also prohibited unless you own rights to the image. If you wish to share an image, provide a clickable link to it.

Posts that do not follow these new guidelines will be altered or deleted by staff. Members who continue to violate this policy may lose their posting privileges at TFL.

I want to schedule a get together for TFLers around my parts, but I'm afraid a lot of folks don't check out the "Lock and Load" section often. Any suggestions? I don't want to post in the wrong section.

Thumper,

Thanks for asking about this. I would recommend that you post your thread in the Lock and Load forum. L&L gets more traffic than you may think. Once people from your area find out about it, word will spread and it will take off like wildfire. Look at the Ohio TFL thread (all five pages!) if you don't believe me.

If it doesn't pan out, you could probably post a link to the L&L thread in General Discussion. I would recommend that you get permission from one of those insufferably picky General Discussion Moderators before doing so though. (;)@DB,LP&ST)

I'd give you the OK myself, but it ain't mine to give. :)

Thumper- George hill gave me the Ok to Post something in the General Discussion Forum to remind people to check out the Lock and Load Forum for Local get togethers. The Post I place is in the "General Discussion Forum" under the tile "Attention TFLers Look whats going on in your State" Feel free to post something under that thread to dig it up for others to see. I put it up about a month ago so you'll have to go back to Topics of the last 30 days. I'm saving that post for future get togethers here in PA. Some of the guys from I think Ohio went threw the same thing and they used my post. Spread the Word!!!!!!!
