N NRAhab New member Sep 11, 2005 #1 I have an old H&R .38 S&W. It currently fires in both double and single action, however I'd like to modify it to remove the double action mode so I can use it as a second gun for cowboy action. Anyone have the right idea on how to do this?

F fisherman66 New member Sep 11, 2005 #2 I don't have or know how that model works. Offhand, I'd say you'd need a SAO hammer and possibly a new SAO sear. This guy shoots one and is active in cowboy shooting. You might want to drop him an e-mail. Click on his name for link to e-mail.
