Moderates are liars (I need to vent #2)

I have met too many people now that claim to be pro-gun but turn out to be simply as numb-brained about them as the people who are admittedly anti. They say, "Yeah, guns are fine" or whatever. Then, they either do or say something that makes it clear that they are not pro-gun. So now, I am a skeptic about yet another thing. If someone tells me they are pro-gun, I simply think "yeah, ok, whatever." They are all as stupid as the open-antis. When you get into conversation with a moderate, they will usually end up saying to me, "Oh, you believe that?!" or "Wow, I don't go that far." so basically, because of a great dela of moderates that are truly liars, I am deemed an extremest because I believe the WHOLE truth. I am tellin' ya guys, are numbers are worse than they appear. Whatever we have in so-called force, cut it to at least one-third...the rest are lying lemmings.

So what do we do about it? Well, first, don't take anyone on their word ever. Second, treat every person as an anti, and try to convert them whether they say they need it or not. And lastly, don't assume there are others like you. That mindset leads a lot of people to leave the work to the rest. Don't do that, assume you are the only one...because it's a very good chance that you are. Purity is rare, dedication is rare, and the people who have both are becoming extinct.

I feel the same way. I used to think we had conservatives and liberals in our government. I have discovered it is really liberals and moderates. Whenever we see "conservative" views in mainstream media, they are actually "moderate". I used to think I was a conservative. But they now accuse me of being a "right wing extremist" because I refuse to "compromise" my rights.

Compromise is another term they misuse. I thought that it would mean two sides giving up a little an meeting in the middle (which by the way, shouldn't be done with our rights), but every time a "compromise" is reached concerning legislation and guns, the anti's get more laws, although maybe not as many as they want, and I lose more rights (always more than I want). They want to keep adding restrictions to the ones already existing. Asking for other restrictions to be lifted is unheard of. I never hear them say anything like "We'll remove the restriction on high-capacity magazines if we can madate trigger lock sales." Not that I agree with this trigger lock garbage, just making a point.

They just need to be set straight on the facts is all, most moderates are fence walkers, and it is up to us to give that nudge to our side, before an anti- gives a nudge to the dark side, actions speak louder than words and numbers don't lie, so show em' were the good guys.

Rharris--I've noticed the same thing. I much prefer someone who'll honestly take a position--and defend it--over these !@#$! "moderates" who don't seem to believe in anything at all. "The only thing in the 'middle of the road' is a yellow stripe--and roadkill..."

So did I, George, & couldn't wait to see how this one would be wacked (in usual elequent style) ... ;)

I'll not go off on a rant, "it annoys the pig & wastes my time" ...

Point is (back to the actual topic), you either believe in your RKBA or you don't.

It's as simple (and "hard") as that.

Yup...and it's usually eaisier to show a anti-gunner the faults in thier arguments than a 'moderate'...because the moderate does not believe in anything.
