I had a Model 700, a few years ago, and someone showed me how to adjust the trigger pull, and warned me about setting it too light.
They also showed me how to test if the pull was too light, by slamming the bolt home on a empty chamber reapeatedly after adjustment, to make sure the hammer would not fall from the force of the bolt being closed.
The question is:
How do I adjust the trigger on this Remington Model Seven Carbine I recently bought?
I haven't taken the action from the stock yet, but plan on doing it soon.
If I remember correctly, there is a screw I must turn????
