Model P Jr. 22 frame/38 spl chambered SA?

Here's how I understand it, correct me where I got it wrong.

Cimarron looked at the Uberti small frame cowboy gun made for rimfire and decided it could be opened up to 38 spl. Am not sure just how big it is, but have heard it called size of a Colt Scout ( as I recall, they were made in 2/3rd and in 3/4th scale of the SAA at different times ), or Ruger super single six.

Initially it was fitted out especially for Cimarron with Lightning (38DA) and Thunderer (41DA) shaped birdshead grip but remained single action only.

Later, Cimarron brought in a standard gripframe and called it the Mod P Jr. Uberti then started selling it under the name Stallion. I believe the 22 is available with fixed or adjustable sights. Unsure about the centerfire guns. I know ( I think ) that fixed sight 38's are available in 4 3/4 and 5 1/2" but not if they're to be had with adjustables. Am 5'4" & size 8 shoes, and a single action the size of my old single six sounds real good, especially if I get a pair and a spare, then get a 22 to practice with.

Have heard nice things bout the full sized Cimarron Ubertis, has anyone shot these and got an informed opinion? They sound quick and responsive compared to my 3rd Gen .45.

Oh yeah, are they +P rated per the mfgr? An old 45th edition Lyman manual lists 195 gr. bullets at 820 and 830 fps from 7" test bbl, at 15,000 cup. One article I read on cowboy shooting gave larger bores 200 to 250 gr. velocities at around 700, 750, and 800 fps. Yeah, I know you guys wouldn't let me head wrong, but the last time I had to knock over a steel target it was a 200 yd ram, with a 35 Remington pistol.

Rusty, I think the chronology on this is that Cimarron brought in their Lightning, then Uberti started offering the Stallion, after which Cimarron started selling the Stallion as the Model P Jr. Cimarron supposedly has an agreement with Uberti under which only Cimarron can sell the small-frame gun with the birdshead grip.

I have a Cimarron Model P with 4-3/4 inch barrel, and I like the gun a lot. It's a keeper.

Just a couple of months ago I got a Stallion with 3-1/2 inch barrel. It shoots great, although the sights need some regulating, which I haven't gotten around to doing yet. I know the .22 versions are available with fixed or adjustable sights, but all the .38s I've seen have fixed sights.
