Model 72 Savage arms falling block rifle

This was my first gun. I've put so many bricks of .22lr threw this thing that I'm surprised there is any rifling left. When I was a kid the only thing i wanted to do was go out to the farm for the weekend and shoot this rifle. I woud sit there with a brick of cheep .22lrs and spend the day trying to shoot empty shot gun shell casings from as far away as i could.

Yes, the old Savage and Stevens tipping block rifles can be a lot of fun. IMO, a kid, a brick of 22s, and a box of cans is guaranteed to be a lot of fun.
