Model 70

not to my knowledge

I haven't seen a clip fed trigger plate for the model 70. You could do it yourself if you have the right tools and knowledge.

re model 70

Well ive got the tools the knowlage is what iam not sure of.
Any of you guys out there ever put a clip in a model 70?
If so can you tell me how it was done?

Even in factory models, the integral mag/hinged floorplate model tends to be more foolproof and reliable. Unless the retrofit is done very well, it may not function reliably. I'd leave it as is...but YMMV. (For the record, I have bolt rifles both ways, and have never had a problem with the clip-fed rifles, but I have read lots of complaints here about them over the years.)

e-GunParts.com

I was looking for some parts yesterday from Numrich. They did make a model 70 that cam with a detachable magazine. Look it up at their web site. Depending on the action length you have, you may be able to make this one work for you without having to change much on your gun other than cutting in the slots for the tabs to fit. Good luck with the project.
