Model 70 trigger adjustment

Carefully following the instructions found here, I have adjusted (lightened) the pull weight on my Model 70. My question is, it seems like it would be better to replace the spring rather than just back off the adjustment nuts. If a lighter spring was used, it could be compressed a bit more, which seems like it would be more secure.

Are lighter springs for a Model 70 available?

To my knowledge, there aren't any lighter trigger springs for the Winchester 70. Not all trigger springs are exactly the same weight either...

I've adjusted my trigger on my pet rifle in progress and I am very pleased with the pull and the fact that the pin won't snap despite bouncing it on the butt off carpet a dozen or so times...

If you need lighter pulls, you might have to go to a Canjar.

Now if I could only get that front ramp on the featherweight barrel (see post below)...
