I've recently recieved my dream pistol for a birthday prsent: a .32cal 1900 browning with the old "pistol logo" grips. Its in great shape, and I'd like to shoot it a little. What's a safe ammo to put through it for test-firing?

JOHN G:
If I didn't have the knowledge on the usage of the fiearm, I would run a head space gauge on it. Just to be safe. Or let your brother in law shoot it.

Harley, with all due respect, I am not sure I see your concerns. That cartridge headspaces on the rim, and the gun is a straight blowback, so I can't see what could possibly go wrong. Besides, I don't know of any gunsmith who has .32 ACP headspace gauges.
