What is the story behind the "Royal Hong Kong Police" model 10's. I picked one up afew years ago. it's in good working order although a bit rough on the outside.

Just off the top of my head, I believe that there were two sources for these guns...

1. British Army S&W AND Enfield/Webley military cast offs after WW II in .380/200.

2. S&W contracted guns in both .380/200 and .38 Spl.

I'll have to check my books when I get home this evening.

I've seen any number of these guns. They're decent WW II (mostly)-era S&Ws.

They're normally not the Lend-Lease guns (which were stamped "US Property"), but later "Victory" models.
