MMM using public school grounds

<BLOCKQUOTE><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial">quote:</font><HR>Friends,
Be alert for the so-called "Million Moms' March" to covertly seek to
use the grounds of your public schools for disembarkation and to list your
public school district as "affiliated" with or "participating" with this
outfit.
These folks have an entree by way of the National PTA, as I
understand it, but local school boards can quash or rescind "affiliation" or
"participation" by your school district.
Time is short-- we just rescinded all ties with our school district
last night, after some strong debate. You need to contact your school board
now to confirm that your community resources and your taxpayer-supported
facilities are not being used to advance one-sided propaganda.
Nobody is questioning this group's right to march or to meet and
load buses on private property. There is, however, no constitutional right
to tap community resources for such a politicized cause.
Please disseminate this as widely as possible.[/quote]

Good point dZ,

Don’t allow the mmm (lower case deliberately) to utilize any public school resources to further their twisted agenda.
