MMM protest at Gun Show

According to an article in a local paper, the MMMers are planning a protest at an upcoming gun show (10/21-22). If anyone here has experienced this I would appreciate any advice you may have.

As an added twist, a local politician who is a cousin of the gun show promoter, is a MMM member (male) and will probably be there. There is also some concern that even though the location is privately run, it has received some county funds for maintenance.

Our local group is writing letters to the paper. In addition to this we would like to present a positive image at the gun show and discredit the MMM as much as possible.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I will be there with my TRT shirt and my MMM=KKK poster. Hopefully a bullhorn and a video camera.

My wife carried the above sign when we protested the MMM gathering on Mother's Day this year, and it got _lots_ of attention. Even got her an on-air interview with a reporter for one of the local TV stations.

It also got a lot of shocked looks from MMM drones; so much for taking the moral high ground unopposed....

Yes but a demonstrated against show is worth 3 times as one thats not to me.
If people shy away because of it the show promoter will take that into account.
Mikek you didnt even say what state your in.
I have been posting the hell out of the
anti-march planned in Houston by the MMM and a few others to make certain our side will be represented.
YOu should check the MMM website or theyll local chapter if you can and confirm the protest if you can get any verifiable info.
post it so we can send it to friends and so that you can sent it to other pro-gun groups as I have theyll check the info and then pass it onto their members.
Their are people like me that if theirs something going on will do as I have and drive to 200 table (smallllll) shows in shreveport,LA from 8 hours away (TN) to be a part and give our 2 cents of love for our freedom and our comments on the common sense of COMMUNISM.

DZ: Oh, I'd say the second's better; The connnection between the MMM's and hate is more quickly explained and obvious than that between them and socialism. All you'll have to do is point at their faces after they see that you disagree with them. ;)

All Marylanders interested in preserving their right to keep and bear arms are invited (nay, implored) to sign up.

Thanks for the replies.

dz - Considered adding it to your post, but I didn't. The second poster is better. Hope to see you there. I joined your egroup, but have not been approved yet.

CassidyGT - Hope to see you there also. Weather permitting I'll be wearing my "My Mom has Gun Control" t-shirt I wore at the SAS rally in DC on mother's day.

Ruger45 - The show is in Gaithersburg Maryland at the fairgrounds. Sort of a long drive for you.

This is true but I like to type even though
Im not 'reel' good at it.
I will forward the info after follown the link to other little groups IM sure their are others a lot closer who will appreciate it.
Thanks

Please do! That's why I posted that message. Poke the MMM crowd and watch them jump.

i spoke to Bruce Colodny, Angel Shamaya, Sandy Abrams, The Second Amendment Sisters and the NRA, last night at the Gun Rights Policy Conference.

I showed them my graphic of the Soviet/MMM Flag
to a bunch of people

After looking at it to a moment
you could see the lights switch on big time

Angel wants it to say
"for the Children" too

Angel and i are talking about getting my designs produced & sold on http://www.Keepandbeararms.com.

Sandy Abrams, the VP of of the Maryland Licensed Gun Dealers Association, does not want any response to the MMM at the show.

He would prefer if they were just ignored.

After hearing a speaker last night from England, i realized that playing nice gets you
no where good. The press demonized guns, labeled gun owners Sickos, and then once the handguns were gone, went right after shotguns & rifles.

Take a look at the MMM coverage in your local paper.

WAKE UP PATRIOTS!!!!!!!!!!

if you can be in Washington DC next weekend for the MFL II

BE THERE!!!!!

So Mr.Abrams would have preferred it if the
MMM had marched unopposed and soley got the publicity instead of several national networks having also gotten suprisingly good coverage for our side.
Thats downright discouraging.

"For evil to flourish, all that's necessary is for good men to do nothing..."

Keep that in mind. I ABHOR those who say "just let it go". THAT is the attitude that got us where we are today. Shall we keep going down that path?

You make the call.
