Well, the Mk 12 Mod 1 is shooter ready, with it's own lower now. Working on developing a Mk262'ish 77grn OTM load for it. Now all that's left is the suppressor, and BUIS.

And with it's cousin and the zombie response vehicle:

Very nice. I'm currently building one myself, the parts should all be in early next week. I'll post pics when I'm done.

How does yours shoot?

The scope is the Nightforce NXS 2.5-10x32. Really a phenomenal scope. I went with the mil-dot reticle, and .1mil adjustments.

SPRs we had issued had A1 buttstocks on them (and just generally A1 lowers, including a cool H&R one) but otherwise looks like a pretty good facsimile. Does need a couple coats of krylon on it and the optic if the goal is a .mil lookalike.

Nice. my BCM MK12 Mod 1 upper is coming in this week. It is without the ops inc brake and collar, leupold mark 4 M2 and it's own lower. Will take some time before it gets built. I'm having trouble deciding on which mark 4 to get. As of right now i'm going to have to use a 2-7x36mm weaver, and my BCM4 lower until i get time to finish it. The final product should look like this though.

How do you like the NXS 2.5-10x32mm? Does the small size of the 32mm objective get on your nerves? Thats the only thing that has stopped me from getting it.

I couldn't be happier with the NXS 2.5-10x32. That damned thing is so bright and clear you'd almost think that it is magnifying available light!

Good to hear. When the times comes i'll be deciding between that or a 2.5-8x36mm MK4. How does she shoot? A range report is needed.

Along with my BCM i ordered 2 boxes of privi partizan match 69gr BTHP and 75gr BTHP. I'm hoping one of em groups in the my 1:8 barrel because it's pretty cheap for factory new match ammunition and i don't want to have to reload for my ARs, i would like to buy bulk for the .223. I tend to shoot alot more .223 ammo when i go out to the range just due to it being semi auto hehe.

I made an error in judgement with this, in that I have yet to set a baseline with some match ammo. I went straight to reloads. So far, I've gotten about 1 1/4", 10 shot groups with some 77grn SMK reloads and TAC powder.

I'm going to a different target, shoot a baseline group, and try a different powder. First time reloading for this caliber, and I'll get it tightened up.

Nice looking rifles, gentlemen. I have a stripped lower sitting in my closet, waiting for the day I have enough cash to finish it...I've definitely been leaning towards a Mk12 clone. This thread may have made up my mind for me!
