Mismatched Artillary Value.

I am looking at buying an Artillery Luger that is non matching numbers. it is a 1917 dated chamber with a DWM Toggle. The Toggle doesn't match the barrel and the barrel doesn't match the frame. I think the frame may be from a police Luger as it has the cut out for a mag safety. Does anybody have an idea what it is worth as a shooter? The price is $1150.pix734242545[1].jpg

Is the notch cut in the receiver ring for the sight? If not the receiver was not made for the long pistol. The gun looks like a parts gun, but when it was "made" is anyone's guess. Value as a shooter would be a bit lower than that $1150; try offering $950.

That is a good question. I am positive that the lower is not original, and is an ex police gun, it has the notch on the left side for the magazine safety. I believe the recess is there for the rear sight though, so who knows.
