Misfires with Turkish 8mm in bandoleers?

I recently picked up a K98 mauser and 3 bandoleers of the 8mm that you see for 5-6 bucks each. The first 10 rounds fired fine, but after that, I have had about a 30-50% failure rate to fire on the first try. However, these rounds all fire on the second time through the gun, all I have to do is recock it.

Is this the ammo or the gun's fault?

BTW- after you shoot this stuff, clean ASAP. Do not let it sit overnight. Don't ask me how I know. When they say corrosive, they mean it.

I have never experienced any malfunctions with this ammo, check it with different brands of 8mm, if those misfire, clean your gun and check for a bent firing pin.

I had the same problem with Turkish ammo in my Yugo Mauser, except I didn't attempt to fire the ammo a second time. I didn't have any problems with the Ecuadorian ammo from http://www.ammoman.com, so I figured that the problem is with the Turkish ammo, possibly hard primers.
